Drifting with the Wind, or How to Fly Freely

It’s the big day! You’re about to enjoy the paragliding experience you’ve been looking forward to over Lake Annecy. Don’t worry—you’ll be guided every step of the way so you can glide through the air with complete peace of mind.

Please arrive at the time specified in the confirmation text message you received the day before, at the Doussard landing area. Our meeting point is the charming wooden chalet!
We’ll take you aboard our 100% electric or hybrid shuttle to the Col de la Forclaz takeoff point (about a 20-minute ride).
Once you’re at the top, your instructor will brief you on the adventure ahead. They’ll outfit you with a harness and a helmet before strapping you into the paraglider. It’s almost time to fly!
It’s time! With your instructor’s help, you’ll take off smoothly from a slope as soft as a carpet.
No leap into the void: just the sensation of floating, comfortably seated in the harness.
The paragliding flight begins: flying at top speed, the instructor will identify the areas most conducive to thermal currents. By taking advantage of these currents, they’ll help the glider climb or maintain altitude. Then, together, you can tailor the flight to suit your exploration goals.
Fancy a bit of a thrill? Try the driving option with guidance from your instructor, or choose the thrill option to get your adrenaline pumping.
After a 25- to 35-minute flight, it’s time to land. A few seconds before touchdown, your instructor will ask you to stand up: take a few steps as you touch down, and there you are—back in Doussard!
A few steps further on, you’ll return to our chalet to view your souvenir photos and videos. A wonderful gift to treat yourself to, marking a turning point in your life: you took the plunge and flew, with the magnificent landscapes as your backdrop.

Yes, paragliding is open to everyone, even those with no prior experience. Our tandem flights are led by a state-certified instructor who will guide you throughout the experience. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced flyer, you’ll enjoy this adventure to the fullest!

When is the best time of year to fly?

The best time for paragliding is from March to October, when weather conditions are generally more favorable. However, we offer flights year-round (including in winter), provided safety conditions allow.

Can I give a paragliding flight as a gift?

Of course! We offer gift certificates valid for one year. They can be customized to your liking. A unique gift for those looking for a one-of-a-kind experience!

What should I wear for a paragliding flight?

It’s best to wear comfortable clothing suited to the day’s weather (warm clothes in winter, lighter ones in summer). Be sure to wear closed-toe, comfortable shoes (such as sneakers or hiking boots). As for the rest, we provide all the necessary equipment: harness, helmet, and, of course, the paraglider.

Do I need to make a reservation in advance?

We recommend booking your Top Flight paragliding flight as early as possible, especially during busy periods such as weekends and holidays! The goal is to secure your spot and ensure your experience is as enjoyable as possible.

What happens if the weather conditions aren't favorable?

If weather conditions are not suitable for flying, we will offer to reschedule your flight for another date (at no extra charge). Your safety is our top priority! We closely monitor the weather forecast and will notify you the day before your flight if any changes are expected.
