The big day is almost here! The day before your flight, we’ll get in touch to confirm whether your flight is still on, depending on the weather conditions. Everything looking good? Here’s what to expect on your adventure!
1) Meet at the Doussard landing site
Upon arrival, your instructor will greet you and introduce you to the microlight. You will then receive a briefing covering the aircraft, safety instructions, and the flight procedure. You will then be fitted with a headset equipped with a communication system so you can communicate during the flight.
2) Preparing for takeoff
Once you’re settled in the dual-control microlight with your instructor, follow their final instructions. Taxiing down the runway… and off we go for takeoff and a cruising speed of 60 km/h!
3) Flight over the Alpine landscapes
The ascent is smooth, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Annecy. You won’t believe your eyes! If the sky is clear enough, you might even have the pleasure of catching a glimpse of Mont Blanc. The flight lasts between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on the package you choose.
4) Return to our beloved homeland and debriefing
All good things must come to an end! The descent is gradual, gliding smoothly with a breathtaking view of the lake. You’ll make a smooth landing on the runway in Doussard… And you can even get your hands on photos and videos of the flight!

Located at the southern end of Lake Annecy, Doussard is a pristine natural gem. This village in Haute-Savoie is nestled between the crystal-clear waters of the lake and the Alpine mountains. The result? An idyllic setting for outdoor enthusiasts and thrill-seekers!
From the air, you won’t be disappointed: with snow-capped peaks, lush green valleys, and sheer cliffs, it’s hard not to be moved! Be sure to take in the Bauges, Aravis, and Bornes mountain ranges that surround the lake.

A microlight is lighter, more maneuverable, and subject to fewer regulations than a conventional airplane. It allows you to fly at low altitudes and offers a sense of freedom more akin to paragliding or hang gliding.
The price of an introductory microlight flight varies depending on the duration you choose.
Our introductory package starts at €120 (including tax) for a flight aboard a pendulum microlight—a lightweight, easy-to-handle aircraft—accompanied by an instructor.
There’s no upper age limit! As long as you’re in good physical condition, you can fly. Children must be at least 5 years old.
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing (a light jacket in summer, a windbreaker at higher elevations) and sunglasses to fully enjoy the scenery. Bring warmer clothes just in case.

No more secrets before your flight
The origins ofmicrolight aircraftdate back to the 1970s. Some enthusiasts offree flightwanted to be able to take off from places other than the side of a mountain.
They simply attached a chainsaw engine tothe hang gliderand added a three-wheeled cart so they could sit down:the Motorized Ultralightwas born!
In 1979, Roland Magallon created the "Mosquito 210," which became the first hang glider-stylemicrolightto be marketed. Shortly thereafter, the firsttwo-seat microlightwith twin engines was designed.
In 1989, the French Federation of Ultra-Light Motorized Gliders (FFPLUM) was founded. This federation, recognized by the Ministry of Sports and registered under the Civil Aviation Code, oversees theULMmovement in France and brings together practitioners of this discipline.
Since 1996, amicrolightTour de France has been held every year. More than a hundred aircraft now take part, reflecting the growing popularity ofmicrolights!
Apendularmicrolightis a very light, motorized aircraft. However, you’ll fly in remarkable silence, even though spectators on the ground are always surprised to see this aircraft flying overhead.
The engine powersthe microlight, but the delta wing above it is also necessary for takeoff and staying airborne.
Steering a pendulummicrolightcouldn't be simpler: just shift your center of gravity like a pendulum and move the control bar—known as the trapeze—to head in the desired direction.
You’ll enjoy a majesticflightat a cruising speed of 60 km/h, with the chance to capture your memories by taking photos while inflight!
On the descent, the loss of altitude is gradual, and the return to base is made by gliding, ensuring a controlled and smooth landing.
