Paraglider : Float in the air like a butterfly !

Just a few steps on the takeoff pad above the Col de la Forclaz suffice to lift off the grounf gently, seated comfortably in a cloth seat in front of your pilot.

You will float slowly through the air and will enjoy an incomparable panoramic view of Lake Annecy and the surrounding mountains.

If you wish, you can ask to take over the controls of the paraglider; your pilot will give you instructions so that you may make some turns and basic moves; he will do his level best to communicate to you his passion for flight.

He will steer you through the sky all the way to a gentle landing in Doussard. You will likely not have to run as you land, as your pilot is well-trained in landing techniques.

Q : Who can fly ?
Anyone who can walk a few steps can fly, there is no need for the passenger to be an athlete. Our team is specialised in flights for the handicapped. Maximum weight 90 Kg ( 14 st )

Q : How old ?
Starting at five years of age, up to 90 or more.

Q: Whom will I fly with ?
With Caro, Didier, Gaby ou Phil, all of whom are state-licensed pilots.

Q : What should I wear ?
All you need are clothes appropriate for the day's temperature. Jeans and a t-shirt are usually sufficient in the summer. You will need laced shoes (trainers are ideal) . We will provide all flight equipment (helmet, harness).

Q : What if the weather is poor ?
No worries, we will reschedule with you. Should we not be able to find an appropriate date, we will reimburse any and all deposits you may have made at time of reservation.

Q : Where is the base ?
For hang-gliding and parasailing, at the Forclaz mountain pass in front of the Edelweiss hotel. See the map.

Q : What's the landing like ?
You will land gently, in a standing position. You can see a series of photos of a landing by clicking here .

Q : How do we get back to the starting point ?
Our minibus will take you back to the Cold de la Forclaz where you can rejoin your friends and vehicle.
